Wokery is a Religious Cult?

This is a very interesting talk by David Brett on the intersection of a number of mystic cults and their confluence into what is generally recognized as 'wokism.' I prefer to use the term 'wokery' but that's just me. Also, I have no allegiance to any particular sect of religious mysticism, including Christianity. Still, if I were forced to pretend I believe in some irrational belief system, it would be Christianity. But you probably wouldn't catch me reciting any ritualistic mumbo jumbo to that effect, unless someone held a gun to my head.

In preparation for this post, I had a thought about how the Liberals, and other woke political organizations are sucking the life out of Canada and turning it into a Third-World shithole.

45% of Canadians in fear of losing their ability to afford housing due to rising costs or rent. Many Canadian cities are now the sites of growing numbers of beggars, addicts, and informal campgrounds. The cost of groceries has risen faster than this country has seen since the first Trudeau was in power. Repeat criminals continue to get away with egregious crimes. Legal criminals in the Climate Scam and Indigenous Grift industries are grifting billions from the taxpayers.

So far, Canada doesn't look totally Third-World, but there are signs everywhere that the country is going down the toilet.

How long can this go on before the whole country collapses?

It reminds me of the oak tree in Atlas Shrugged. Let me quote google:

"Here are the key details regarding the oak tree:

Symbol of Security: Standing on a hill over the Hudson on the Taggart estate, the tree was a childhood landmark that Eddie Willers viewed as indestructible, rooted with "fist-like" strength. It symbolized the stability of Taggart Transcontinental and the world as it should be.

The Hollow Heart: The tree is later struck by lightning and reveals a rotten, hollow center—a black tunnel. This acts as a metaphor for the state of Taggart Transcontinental and the U.S. economy: seemingly solid on the outside but rotted from within due to the loss of its vital core (competence, reason, and innovation).

Decay and Disintegration: The "thin gray dust" inside the tree, dispersed by the wind, represents what remains when the "living power" of production is gone. This foreshadows the ultimate collapse of the society that Eddie and Dagny are fighting to maintain."

Canada is like that oak tree. It looks solid on the outside, but it's actually rotten to the core. I attribute the major part of the blame for this disintegration on wokery. And when I think of the Trudeau/Carney Liberals, another disturbing comparison comes to mind. The way wokery consumes its prey describes how the Liberals are consuming Canada.

Also from Google:

"Spiders eat by using external digestion, as they cannot chew food. They inject venom and digestive enzymes into prey via fangs, turning the insides into a liquid "smoothie". Using a straw-like mouth, they suck up this liquefied tissue, often leaving behind an empty exoskeleton husk."

The spider dining description explains how the 'venom and digestive enzymes', I.E., the millions of tax dollars funneled into 'education' and so-called 'news' corporations turn the 'insides', I.E. the minds of the population of osmotic thinkers, into woke liquid 'smoothies.' All liquids, take the shape of their containers. In Canada, the containers are the intellectual boxes, or the “drink box water bottle sorta thing” or the government constructed 'Overton Window,' in which all but the remaining independent thinkers' opinions, attitudes, and voting decisions are poured and stored for use by political opportunists like Mark Carney and the Liberal Party.

When you look around to see what other jurisdictions are also being flushed down the same woke sewer pipe, while grifters are siphoning off $Billions, you can't ignore what is happening in California.
